Text and file conversion
Decodex encodes text into Base64 and decodes Base64 into readable text. UTF-8 is the default; you can choose other character encodings, including EUC-KR / CP949, Shift_JIS and Windows-1252. It supports automatic or manual conversion, copying, and 12 interface languages. The decoder accepts Base64URL, omitted padding and whitespace. You can also encode files into Base64 text and restore images, PDFs or other files from Base64 text files.
Limits and privacy
Text conversion supports up to 5 MiB (5 × 1024 × 1024 bytes). File encoding accepts up to 100 MB; file decoding accepts a Base64 text file up to 140 MB and restores up to 100 MB of data (MB = 1,000,000 bytes). Files can be downloaded after conversion; images and PDFs are not previewed. Conversion runs locally in your browser. Google Analytics measures visits and feature use, but conversion contents are not sent as analytics events. Base64 is reversible encoding, not encryption.
